In my two years as medical director of Medical Cannabis of Southern California I have not witnessed the all out assault on patients and caregivers than what is going on right now.  It is so perplexing that I am not sure where to start in this post.

First I guess let me say that the overall leadership in the State of California is about as bad as it gets.  We have the 8th largest economy in the world and are stuck with a budget deficit that is 19 billion!   Our taxes on business and corporations are some of the highest in the country making California one of the last States that you would want to start a business.  Our unemployment is one of the highest in the United States.

YET DESPITE THE FACT THAT OUR POLITICIANS HAVE DRIVEN OUR ECONOMY INTO THE TOILET…. THEY CONTINUE TO WASTE RESOURCES FIGHTING A LAW THAT WAS ALREADY PASSED!!! WHAT IS GOING ON?

The medical marijuana industry is creating a lot of jobs even with the threat of arrest and prosecution.   The state could generate a lot of revenue if hey allowed collectives to make a profit and pay their taxes.  You don’t need a Harvard business degree to see how this industry is having a positive effect on the State.

WAKE UP CALIFORNIA POLITICIANS! OUR GOVERNMENT IS designed BY THE PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE!

THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN.  WE PASSED PROPOSITION 215.   ALLOW SAFE ACCESS TO MEDICINE AND LEAVE PATIENTS ALONE.
