On April 12, 2011 the city of Costa Mesa held a study session regarding the regulation of medical marijuana dispensaries in their city. A professional presentation was put together and the city council members (and mayor) received compelling argument with supporting documentation on why they should tax and regulate the dispensaries. Unfortunately the city has yet to even look at or discuss the documents that were provided and are instead looking to SHUT DOWN the dispensaries currently providing sick patients with necessary medicine. READ ON…

Everyone is trying to figure out just what Prop 19 will do to the existing medical marijuana industry. At this point is is all speculation because there are so many unknowns about how prop 19 is going to change things.

1. Will cities authorize recreational sales?

2. Will medical dispensaries be able to cater to both recreational users and patients?

3. Will many people grow their own marijuana?

4. Will the Federal Government step in and not allow California to legalize it?

There is one thing is is universally being anticipated: A MAJOR DROP IN THE PRICE OF MARIJUANA. AS MUCH AS 80% MANY BELIEVE.
