Treating Chronic Pain with Marijuana

Chronic pain is one of the most common complaints that I recommend medical cannabis for in my practice. As a patient, any time you make a decision to start or stop a medication you always have to wiegh the benefits vs the risks. The problem that most patients experience is that traditional western medicine is unable to treat the cause of the underlying pain and instead focuses on treating the pain itself. These medications come with sever and dangerous side effects that preclude their use. Cannabis is an extremely effective alternative therapy to treating chronic pain.
